David Fund
Some of you may know David, a globetrotter who sells beautiful ital bread next to the Shacks. He is going through hard times because his house burned down 6 weeks ago, he has lost everything. He is a single dad, living with his two boys, and he is doing his best to reconstruct a life for them.
Dr. Cazalis is collecting stuff for him. He needs clothes (the boys are age 5 and 7), bedding, kitchenware, towels, all the basics… For those 4th semester students who are leaving island but not planning to take all your stuff with you, think about donating them. Either David or the Grange (elderly home) may be able to use them..
You can bring things for him to Dr. Cazalis’s office (in anatomy department). Just leave it next to the door if she is not there.
Thanks to you all,
Vincent Lin

(Donated Stuff)
David has been able, with the help of friends, to build a shack next to the ashes of his house, on his own land next to Marigot. Yesterday, thanks to the stuff that he has received, he has been able to cook dinner and sleep in a real bed. This is giving him the strength to start everything over. He has already begun collecting wood for building a new house. He will need nails, roofing, cash, …
David still badly needs a pair of shoes, size 7 or 7 1/2.
